Case Study
The Wakefield, Atlanta

Two of Brookwood’s founding principals, George and Shepherd Heery, served as Development Principals and Construction Loan Guarantors for site acquisition, planning and development of The Wakefield, Atlanta’s first luxury cooperative. Ken Klebanoff served as the Development Manager.Brookwood carried out the design as the Owner’s Design Consultant and provided full Development Management including the arrangement of financing, marketing and management of construction. The project was completed in 16 months on schedule. There was only one contractor-initiated change order in the amount of $8,400 and no claims were brought against the Owner (Developer).
